Even if having a carrier with battleship guns seems like a cool concept, I think the flight-deck would be torn apart after firing a full salvo.. Which goes to show why these concepts never took off.

Costa Concordia Sinks

Despite today's advanced radar and navigational devices, accidents are still common. The Costa Concordia ran aground off the island of Giglio near Italy due to human error.

Japanese Heavy Artillery Barge


This round barge was designed by the Japanese to carry two super massive guns to bombard the enemy on the shores. It has massive firepower for such a small vessel.
